Bio
Henere is an atmospheric black metal band rooted in themes of winter, war, and isolation. Emerging from the US underground, the project began with early recordings that would later form Eye of the Storm, before evolving through Frozen Veil of the North and The Chosen Path. Across each release, Henere has developed a sound that blends cold melodic passages with aggression, shaped by both the northern aesthetic and the intensity of the USBM scene. What began as a singular vision has since expanded into a full band, strengthening the sonic foundation while preserving the original atmosphere and intent. A new chapter continues with recent releases and forthcoming material, pushing further into themes of conflict, endurance, and the unforgiving nature of winter.
